We are happy to open the doors to proposals like this one, which are born from the commitment, passion and experience of those who live the horse world from the inside. Lucas Echeverry will be the one who, in this and every new meeting, will invite us to enjoy this space for conversation and shared learning, with the warmth of someone who opens the doors of his house and waits for us with a delicious coffee.
Episode 2: “Professionalizing horse fairs in Colombia”.
Lucas Londoño is an agricultural business administrator and for the last 12 years he has directed one of the largest and most important associations of the equestrian guild in Colombia, Asdesilla. He is passionate about horses and the countryside and has had the opportunity to work in different sectors of Colombian agriculture. Today he is a great manager of new ideas and events around the equine guild. Together with a great team that he has formed over the years, he organizes what for many is the best horse fair in the world, the Feria de las Flores. It is interesting to know his perspective of the guild and his appreciation of how it has changed in the 12 years that he has been a guild leader. Lucas’ teachings about what it means to work doing what you like, with good energy, attitude and adapting to the circumstances that arise are valuable and enriching. Lucas also told us how he handles stress during the organization of this great event that is the Feria de las Flores.
