Thank you Lucas for these “No Hat” meetings.

We are happy to open the doors to proposals like this one, which are born from the commitment, passion and experience of those who live the horse world from the inside. Lucas Echeverry will be the one who, in this and every new meeting, will invite us to enjoy this space for conversation and shared learning, with the warmth of someone who opens the doors of his house and waits for us with a delicious coffee.

Episode 6: “Principles of Colombian chalaneria and equestrian dressage”.

Dairo Chica is an encyclopedia of the Colombian Criollo horse. He has been a breeder, chalán, rejoneador, businessman and great equestrian, as well as a tireless student of various equestrian topics such as the different types of dressage, the history of the horse in America and the Iberian Peninsula, among many others.

With Dairo we talked about his childhood in Abejorral and Bello, his first immersion in the world of horses and how, as a child, he began to ride with the gypsies and learn about horses with them. We also reviewed his time working at La Margarita, being the best chalán and horse exhibitor of his time, and he told us about his passion for rejoneo (bullfighting). We talked about his time as a breeder and his unwavering pillars in horse breeding. In addition, Dairo generously instructed us on many dressage concepts that, if well applied, could greatly improve the way we train horses.
